What Is Kratom?

Kratom is the name given to one of the most illustrious native tree found in a small number of countries of the South East Asia, specifically, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Kratom tree grows leaves that are abundantly rich in therapeutic and soothing properties, therefore, the locals considers it to be one of the most sacred tree of their land.

The Leaves of Kratom have therefore been used symbolically in the ceremonies and rituals as medicine and ornaments from the ancient times. Thailand is one of those countries that have banned Kratom even though its soil is gifted with the plantation of Kratom naturally, in lieu of increasing its tax revenue from the distribution of drugs such as Opium. Measures such as these have significantly influenced in limiting the availability of such an amazingly pure herb having exceptional traits.

The Kratom tree is evergreen; its flowers grow and evolve in shape overtime. With the passage of time, its leaves fall down due to the change of seasons and environment, and are then replaced with new ones naturally when the right ideal environmental conditions come back again. The fact that Kratom's tree is evergreen, makes it a much more stable and sustainable source for harvesting more often in time and quantity.
